In Microsoft Word, the first section of commands found on the ribbon under the Home tab is the Clipboard. In the Clipboard, we find four types of options. These options include the Paste command, the Cut command, the Copy command, and the Format Painter command.
Paste
The copied and cut text or object is pasted to the desired location through the Paste command.
Copy
The copy command is used to copy any text or object to another place. Copy means that the exact same text or object as the selected text or object is given to us by this command in Microsoft Word, which we can paste at our desired location. The shortcut for copying is Control plus
Cut
Along with this, the other command we get from copy is cut. The object can also be pasted to another location with the cut command. However, in cut, the object that we have selected will not remain in the original location, but will be cut from there and pasted to another location. To understand this in simple words, we can say that it is moved from its original location to another location.
Format Painter
After that, the last command we get in Microsoft Word is the format painter. This command Through it, you can select any font, color, size, or other formatting you have given to the text in your document and apply it to the desired text. By doing this, you can apply the separate formatting done on the previous text that was applied in different steps. Through the format pointer, you can get the desired results on the new text with a single selection and a single click. This was our Microsoft Word cut copy piston and format pointer class, which you must have understood from this.
